Output device includes inkjet printer, thermal dye-sublimation printer, film recorder etc. Inkjet printer has a lower price and with a variety of papers and film sheet. It becomes the most popular personal and SOHO equipment. Inkjet prints have been improved ever since, from structure to ink and paper. Furthermore, the drivers are so well that it does not require expertised skill to have a good print. Thermal dye-sublimation printer is renown for its high quality. The price is high so as the printing cost. When high quality print is required in short time, thermal print is the only choice. The only difference with conventional print is the trace of exposure. There is a common problem of digital imaging output. Highlight and shadow details are the most obvious shortfall. Film recorder has different format and technology. It is used to print digital image file to conventional film. In general, 8x10 format is for printing and 135 format is for slide presentation. The complete digital imaging process begins with scanning, through editing, to output. Without full knowledge, it would be difficult to handle. It is always true that practice makes perfect. The best way is to have a simple arrangement to begin with. |
